Like I said, every game... (http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/48883)
The interesting part is how the 360 and PC versions will differ. Both versions get a hardcover artbook. For the platform exclusive items, the 360 gets a DVD with "four hours of interviews and features, an exclusive documentary exploring the British S.A.S from World War II to modern day, and a series of 'making of' vignettes," which is pretty interesting.
PC? A digital copy of the BradyGAMES Official Strategy Guide. Yes, a PDF strategy guide. How wonderful.
-
I'd rather have the "Making" Stuff than the Strat Guide.
For crying out loud, We got GameFaqs so we don't have to buy Brady Guides! :P
-
What a fucking load of bullshit.
-
Why? Why offer something different?
-
Because people who still play PC games are simple idiots who need a Brady Bunch guide to know how to play! HAHAHA
ahhh I'm kidding no this is pretty stupid, I mean really CoD games have been so linear you'd have to be a retard to get lost and not know what to do so a game guide is pointless to start with.
-
Hmm, that is pretty retarded. You'd think they'd wanna butter-up the CE for the PC buyers.
-
CoD4 collectors edition announced
Shocker.
I have no interest in most CE's anyway. I have to really love the franchise to even think about it, and even then I usually realize I could give a crap about a metal figurine and some making-of DVD.
I think Starcraft II will probably be the first one I buy ever, assuming there is a CE for that (I'd say it's pretty bloodly likely).

No beta/demo has ever convinced me to own a game like the beta for this game has. It's utterly amazing.
