Got any plans for the big day?
-
Happy B-day, crusty old bones! Haha!
-
Haha thanks guys! :D
My family and friends conspired and had a little surprise party for me :) It was great!
I usually catch wind of things pretty early on, but this year they pulled a double bluff and managed to actually surprise me! I didn't see it coming hehe
I'm just happy I was surrounded by loved ones :)
Oh and I got a PSP! ;D I'll probably start nagging Que about homebrew stuff soon :P

Heh, happy birthday man! PSP is good times. Idol will be the one to help you get the latest firmwares running CFW, but I'm more than a little versed in the homebrew stuff in general by now. We'll get you what you need!
-
Hopefully you got a PSP 2000 because the 3000s haven't been hacked yet.

Ack! It's a 3000.. I'll have to wait till it's hacked then. I like how slim and light it is though. My cousin has a 2000 series and we were comparing the screens, it seems the 300 has a slightly better screen overall with more vivid colours. They both still suck in sunlight though.
Yay, I have built-in mic.. it came with Skype pre-installed too. Ironically I'm in a country in which all VoIP and similar electronic communication devices and software are disabled, blocked, and even banned. Frickin' monopoly telecom company.
Anyway, I love it so far. It came packed with Killzone: Liberation and a Namco arcade classics collection (I love Dig Dug!). I find I'm using it more for general multimedia than games so far, pretty much like my PS3. Remote Play seems like it could come in handy too!
Btw, what video formats is the PSP restricted to? The PS3 can handle practically anything with DivX.

I forget. I haven't watched video on it in a long time since I moved to a building where I can't really get away with it too easily (at work, that is).
But there's some awesome stuff on PSP, so there's tons of stuff to play while you wait for it to be cracked. LocoRoco, Patapon, Lumines, Crush, Disgaea, Jean d'Arc, Final Fantasy Tactics, Metal Gear AC!D, Metal Gear Portable Ops, Guilty Gear Judgment, Wipeout Pure, Wipeout Pulse, Silent Hill Origins, Gurumin, Test Drive Unlimited... I could go on. But there are a lot of good games for the system now, so you won't be bored.

Happy Birthday yo.

Happy birthday, man! Hope you have a great day and get lots of fun presents. A PSP sounds like the perfect start.

Happy birthday, X!
Hope it was a great one.

Thanks guys :)
It was a great chillout day :D
27 seems pretty cool so far. I expected I'd feel more aged, more apathetic, but I actually feel pretty energetic! Like some of the passion I lost over the years is slowly coming back to me.
The PSP is pretty sweet! I'm really enjoying Killzone too. Thanks for the suggestions Que, you just jumpstarted my portable gaming knack hehe
