Huh?  VLC Media Player?  Hacked?  How?

Edit:  Is this it? (http://www.spamfighter.com/News-10058-Hack-Possible-on-Flawed-VLC-Media-Player.htm)  Versions are past 1.0 now.  I hope this has been fixed.  Good heads up, though.  Make sure subtitle files are legit and clean before letting VLC load them.

Edit 2:  Oh, there's a Christmas hat on the VLC cone in the About window.  Haha!  Is *that* it?

I was disappointed that I didn't get it, but it just happened. Awesome.

It reminded me - what happened to our Christmas spirit (i.e. no santa hats on avatars?) We haven't done it in ages.

I decided to make things festive again.

I forgot to change it from my PC, and now that I'm at Sandy's, I can't.  I won't be back to my PC till after Christmas, so I guess it just ain't happening this year.  (Anyone got a link to my candy-cane cobra from last year?  The image is in my RR webspace, which I can't reach since my system HDD crash.  Never bothered to track down the particulars for login again.)
