Title: At work today...

This guy comes in and tells the cashier to give him all the money in the register. But he doesn't have a weapon or anything and the cashier tells him no. So he runs out of the store and tries to get away, but the cashier tells the cops what he looks like and they catch him. He is getting charged with robbery, even though he didn't get anything. Lots of jail time, probably. What an idiot.

Well...uhh

It sounds like he was just asking for money and they said no. How is this a crime? I could walk into best buy and ask "hey give me these tv's" and they'd just laugh me out.
