Wow that's hot.

Its been real nice hear the last few days.  Crept into the 90's, but humidity has stayed low.  Humidity is what really tends to kill us here.

And I have no AC.  I live in a garage.

Thankfully, the situation with the house above me is such that it stays fairly cool.  But still... fuck this.  I don't need this.  I really don't.

By the way, where do you live now?  I thought you lived in the Bay Area, which I'm showing was only 90 today.

I only ask because the Reds are in San Francisco (getting smoked) and the talking heads were talking about what a nice day it was.

Fuck the talking heads.  I'm still in the Bay Area, but in Lafayette now, on the other side of the Caldecott Tunnel, where the temperature rises a good 20 degrees or more higher than the stuff on the other side.

It's not that hot here, but it gets around 95-100 here on the really hot days lately. It sucks to work on those days because I work in an unairconditioned restaurant and I work the stove - which is directly above the oven. It gets to around 125 degrees in that vicinity. For 7-8 hours. I sweat buckets.

I'm complaining the other way. Now that I'm back in Canada where it's more like 75 degrees, it's way too cold. I'm wearing sweaters and stuff.

That sounds painful.

That is pretty hot! I'm almost impressed it reached that high way over there! Ah Nature.

On average it's about that hot here, but a few days ago it was around 48 C (118 F). It's more bearable here because everything is air conditioned.

The weather was beautiful here yesterday for a change.  We've had 90s F and high humidity all summer.  I'll trade that for 100 F with low humidity any day.

Yeah don't underestimate humidity.  We had some Arizonians in town for our wedding, which was on a pretty hot but very humid day.  They all thought they were dying and were suffering worse than anyone else.

When they say "Its not the heat, its the humidity", they aren't lying.
