Heh. Got you. My life has changed enough in the past month as it is.

That said, I am still changing things up a little bit more, but not quite to the level of a child. Aimee and I just heard that we our application to adopt a cat and one of her kittens was accepted, so we're going to be parents in a sense.

We had intended to adopt an older cat initially and met one that we really liked and decided to adopt, but something came up in that process. The adoption place had her with two of her kittens (I think they were born in April) and we got to play with them all for a little. If you're any bit a cat person, you can guess how that went. So, we decided to try and take the mother and the more shy of the kittens with us.

So yeah, we're parents. Expect cute pictures... eventually. We're still working out stuff with our file hosting service.

Oh, just to preemptively respond: Yes Scott, I know you hate cats.

Haha, good advice.

I got the email from the shelter chick the other day, put in the good word for you.  Glad to hear it worked out.  Although she apparently thought I was Becky, so that was a little funny.

Glad it's going to work out for you four, though.  I look forward to the pictures!

The cat my sister had when I was younger used to poop in my room all the time.  I've never particularly liked cats since then.

I'm about to foster a dog, though.  Dogs are awesome.

My roomate's dog is an escape artist.  It's also a pure bred pitbull.  As you can imagine, this is a very very bad combination and I've become very good at explaining to people how it's not my dog.

Cats are okay. Depends on their personality. Dogs however are great.

I have lots of pictures, but still no place to host them. My time has been split between school and getting angry at Metroid, so I haven't set up a new hosting service.

Names though. The mother is Sparrow and the kitten is Flicker, like the birds. They were already named at the animal shelter and while we considered changing Flicker's name, it worked the more we got to know him.

Congrats. Cats are awesome. Most are selfish and bitchy, but some are very loving. I have four cats at the moment, and have had five others which I found homes in the past two years. They all very different personalities, I must say.

So, apparently my cats are made of condensed cute wrapped in a soft fur coat. I suspect this is the case for many cats.
