Finished Saints Row 2 PC tonight. It was good, after everything was all said and done. Wound up liking it.

So, let me hope the PC version gets some DLC, down the line...

Volition found the source code for Saints Row 2 and is rebuilding the game, since it has issues out-the-box:

Notes:
- SR2 is tough to run on PC (especially on Steam), as you need mods to actually run the game at all & even properly.
- Volition found the source code for SR2.
- A two-person team is working on fixing & updating SR2, so it could be a while until this hits the PC.
- SR2: Rebuilt for PC will use Steamworks for co-op, since GameSpy is gone.
- SR2: Rebuilt PC version will also include the DLC's, which weren't released on PC before.
- Ultor Exposed DLC & Corporate Warfare DLC are the two DLC's coming to SR2: Rebuilt.

Mike Watson (aka IdolNinja), who was working on Saints Row 2 & fixing it up, has unfortunately passed away:

Notes:
- For those that don't know, Mike Watson AKA Idolninja was the modder behind the beloved Gentleman of The Row mod for SR2 PC.
- And he was working on a huge overhaul for SR2 PC for Nordic & Volition.
- This was to fix the PC port & also port the DLC's over to SR2 PC.
- He's also made sure someone else was to continue working on this, even after his passing.
- Even in his final days of having Stage 4 Cancer, the legendary modder/developer was still working on this overhaul.
