Huge willy seen from space

Jokers drew a huge willy on the roof of a school that was so large it could be spotted from space.

However, the willy wasn't noticed until it was seen on Google Earth.

It is thought former pupils at Yarm School at Stockton on Tees carried out the prank.

According to the Sun one former pupil said: "A couple of ex-students hopped over the school fence on a weekend and went unnoticed by guards.

"They managed to get on the roof of the Friary building and somehow mark on the willy. They also burnt a manhood into the grass."

Although the willy on the roof has been removed the outline can still be seen on Google.

A spokesman for Google said: "If users spot something offensive we would consider having it removed."

That's... uh...

All right, to be honest, I never understood why anyone would draw a penis on anything.  Seriously, how is that funny?

Haha.

Some people did something like that in one of our lecture halls.

How is it not funny? It's a huge penis that can be seen from space.  :P

And... what's funny about a dick?  All men have them.  It's a human organ.  How is that any funnier than drawing a kidney?  I mean, I understand there's a distinct difference between a dick and a kidney, but what is it about the dick that's actually funny?  Pretty much nothing.  I guess you could classify it as lewd, in which case I guess you could say, "My lewdness can be seen from space!" but I still fail to see the point.  What's *funny* about that?

I don't think this was particularly hilarious though it did bring a smile out of me, but come on lighten up. We are taught as children that things like poop and urine are dirty and any mention of it quickly becomes taboo. When something like that was mentioned when it wasn't supposed to, we would laugh involuntarily. This would of course also happen with any associated organ, like a penis or a pair of buttocks. As we grew older we grew out of it, and kinda matured. Of course some of us still find it funny at some level, though obviously some are extremely mature about it.

I mean why get turned on a breast? It is just a dangling piece of flesh, that can at stages of a woman's life be used to feed a child. Why is that organ sexy? Why is sexual intercourse appealing? All one is doing is inserting on organ into another till the point where sperm is passed.

Somethings are just instinctive, like sexual arousal. Even without the influence of a society men would still behave the same way around women. As for humor, it becomes instinctive because of society's influence. I don't think cavemen laughed at drawings of penises on the wall, though I am pretty sure they still enjoyed looking at hot cavewomen.

You could replace that drawing of a penis with anything that wasn't supposed to be there, and I am sure most of us would still find it funny on some level.

If I could easily recognize a kidney, and someone drew that instead of a penis, it would be even more funny.

I guess I'm just weird.  I've never considered "funny" to be instinctual I suppose, given that so many different people find different things funny, where sex is pretty much just ingrained in us.  And you know, I don't think I ever found poop or urine funny.  When I was a kid, I liked the Far Side, Calvin and Hobbes, and Bill Cosby, and when my friends said nasty stuff like that I told them they were being tools.  I've hated toilet humor and crude humor for as long as I can remember, which has for many years ostracized me from various groups of people who like certain movies, TV shows, and stand up acts.  The irony is that Clerks is one of my all time favorite movies despite how crude it is, and I've never been able to explain that one.  I've seen that movie like a billion times and I never get tired of it.

Okay, so this was like a huge thread hijack and I feel bad.  I really wasn't expecting to actually discuss this.

What are you apologizing for? All I expected was to get posts like, "Heh it is teh penis!"

Clerks was the Kevin Smith movie I liked the least, probably because I found the vulgarity excessive.

Which is why I don't get why I like it so much.  I hate all his other movies because I find them base and generally offensive.  I don't make any sense.

The vulgarity in clerks is written so well, it makes it much funnier. I've never been that big on toilet humour eiether. If Clerks was written by anybody else I don't think I would have liked it.

Credit has to go to the cast, too.  The timing is excellent on most of the jokes, and timing can make a world of difference.

Profanity and toilet humor actually seem to run pretty deeply into human language.

There's coprolalia ("shit-speaking"), which can result from certain kinds of brain damage (particularly to the prefrontal lobe). The major symptom is excessive, incredibly obscene speech - which is often quite relevant to the situation (eg, screaming out anti-Semitic profanities in a Synagogue). Homer used a term similar to describe Thersites, a rank-and-file soldier in the Iliad whose only purpose in the story is to be the butt of jokes.

The phrase "butt of a joke" probably isn't a coincidence.

Lastly, I can't give a cite for this, but I heard that among some chimps that were taught sign language, they invented a gesture to mean "feces" and used it obscenely. Oh, chimps, will your comedic genius ever fail?
