So far this has been a fun weekend. Friday we went to the Volo Auto Museum which was cool. Before we got to the museum we went to eat at a chinese buffet (she loves the crab legs) and stopped at a thrift shop. I found a dual shock controller for $1.50 in excellent condition and...get this...a Neo Geo Pocket Color in damn near perfect condition. Also $1.50. No games unfortunately, so I'll have to get some. So happy about that.
Volo was fun, took a bunch of pics. Pics this whole weekend have been tough since its mostly cars that would reflect a flash in a bad way, plus my wide-angle lens blocks the flash in the lower right of the image...so no flash. Some pics are a little blurry...oh well.
Saturday we went downtown early for the big chicago auto show. It was fun, but not nearly as cool as last year. A couple neat concept cars, but other than that is was sort of like "Great, this is the 2007 model as opposed to the nearly identical 2006 model". We didn't even wait in line to ride the Jeep and Dodge cars because it was an hour long line. So we ended up leaving early and checking out the Woodstock Square.
Today we're not sure what we're going to do. Waffles for breakfast for sure. We planned to go downtown again, but that get tiring and the weather is cold and overcast. Blah. Might just go out and do some shopping.
