Topic: Splinter Cell Chaos theory; Ubi soft cotinues to fuck up.

I bought two copies of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory on DVD a while back. One was for me and the other for my little bro who is a massive fan.

Well I just installed Chaos Theory and tried running it. After it installs it asks for a cd key which I found on the case and it gives an error. So then I looked on the manual and there is a second cd key there! So I tried that, and that's incorrect as well.

What the fuck?

So I opened my brother's Chaos Theory and there are two cd keys in there as well! AND THEY BOTH DON'T WORK.

WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY.

Seriously fuck ubisoft. Rainbow Six Vegas's multiplayer is still fucked up as well and I seem to have wasted $40 on two copies of non working Chaos Theories.

Isn't that the perfect patient for megagames or gamecopyworld medicine?  Or is it that the game doesn't work at all?

Welcome to my world! It's bittersweet.. I'm sad that Ubisoft are bullshitting us with crap like that, but I'm happy you can empathize with what I went through a couple of years back

You went through the same crap? Well anyway it is all good now and it seems they were finally able to crack it at 1.05. So I updated to that version and installed the 30MB crack and it is all good.

Good the multi is sweet.

That's really too bad.  I have this game on the PC and it's actually a very well done game.  I didn't buy it though because of the fact that Starforce is on it.

Well I've cracked 1.05 so it is all good. And the game looks gorgeous so far.

Anyway what is up with Ubi? Why do all companies start screwing up when they get bigger? While the issues of Chaos Theory were with starforce and the cdkey, the sequel had even bigger issues.
