I don't know if anyone here has been following this at all, but aparently someone figured out that this  this somewhat big 'post-pop' artist ripped off and sold a painting that is almost an exact replica of a webcomic one of the guys who does all the art for Something Awful did a few years ago.  The sad thing is he probably sold it for a few grand.  Anyways, head to something awful for the full story, but aparently some people did a bit of research and look:

If I knew I could make a small fortune off selling shirts  with clip art and other people's obscure internet work on them to trend whores I would have been doing it for years.  But damn, that's a lot of stealing right there.  And the fact that he didn't even try to hide it makes me think he's kind of a piece of shit (well, that and how he handled it).

Were any of you on the staff when that review stealing incident happened at AOG? I think Sirean was. Duck hired some dude who had kept delaying his review and Duck was on his case... until the guy finally handed it in. A day later we got an e-mail from someone saying that it was an exact copy of some other review on the net. Duck contacted the website it was stolen from, who were super nice about it anyway.

So looks like Goldman wants to settle. mmmmmm.....mmmmmm.....

Tycho and Gabe from PA have been posting some links about this guy lately and I hope the guy gets lawsuits out the ass against him, he's even more of a scumbag for threatening legal action against the people who expose him, that page where they showed how much money he makes off of this shit makes me sick to my stomach.
