I just watched the first two episodes and I am hooked.

I have no idea how this went under my radar.

I watched the first three episodes when the show was new and I just could not get into it at all.  I found the special effects lacking and the show very hokey.

Sorry, I don't mean to poo-poo on something you are enjoying.  Please don't let my opinion cloud it for you.

Haha no worries, dude. To each his/her own! :D

Maybe re than anything else I'm just ecstatic to have a genuine monster show rather another "Vamps are sexy teens" romp. Plus I'm a big fan of Guillermo Del Toro and his monster design.

It was the mention of Guillermo that got me intrigued, when I checked out the show.  I haven't had a chance yet to watch any of it.

I've been watching this since the beginning. It feels a bit dragged out, and the main bad guy looks a little doofy. I don't know that I really connect with any of the characters either. Anyone could die and I don't think I'd care all that much. I'm hoping it will get better, but I don't have a lot of hope.

What Xessive said though, it's nice to have a vampire thing to watch that's actually trying to be horror.
