Warcraft Novels
« on: Saturday, July 14, 2007, 10:30:21 PM »
Has anybody read any of them? I've actually been getting into them recently. I read through the Last Guardian which deals with Medivh's betrayal, its a pretty neat little story, gives some insight on Medivh's mother but I was hoping for a little more from Medivh himself. Either way it was a interesting read. Then theres the War of the Ancients Trilogy, I'm almost finished with the first one. So far this has really been awesome, its surrounds the first invasion of the burning legion, if your in any way interested in Warcraft lore it is very much worth your time to check it out.

I've never considered reading them, but I might pick one up if they're decent.

I got one of them with my original WoW preorder way back when, but I haven't touched it. I think it's a chunk of the backstory for the Night Elves. I sorta remember hearing not so good things about it, but that was just in passing really. It's not like I'm doing high reading these days aways with all the Warhammer novels I've been spending time with.

I really wanted to check some out, but never managed to find them at the store.  For some reason I didn't want to order them online at the time.  I'd still read some, but I'm afraid of getting back into WoW again.  Heh. I'll probably grab some when I make the jump the next time, which will probably be around the same time that idol does.

Likewise.  Maybe by then the game will have emptied out some, too.

Unless... oh God... they make another expansion...

I just can't justify the cost of the game anymore. I used to go along with the idea that it's relatively inexpensive, just 15 bucks a month for hours of entertainment. But in the end, I did spend near 100 bucks on a video game. That's just insane.
