Sorry I haven't gotten this up and running yet, folks. I was working on it today but just didn't have time to finish, and hadn't worked on it until today due to some personal problems. I hope to have everything ready to go tomorrow. I think it's a good show, so hopefully it'll be worth the wait!

I'll nuke this little news message once I get the thing up!

Maybe not, but we recorded the thing last week! So it really should have launched *last* weekend.

I'm sure it takes a good amount of time to edit and everything, especially to do it correctly.

I'd rather wait for a classic, done correctly -- than get something just get rushed out there just to get it out there.

Regardless, Que -- I'm sure you'll do fine w/ it since you delayed it to get it done right -- yeah. instead of EA'ing the product way before its ready!

Okay, I think it's done! It may not be perfect, but I think it's pretty close. I'm a bit burnt out, so some of the music cues are a little funny, and I know there are a couple points where I rambled tremendously and everybody will probably just want me to shut the fuck up, but I'm too tired to get into any more work on my own stuff. I really need a new mic to get rid of some of the noise problems I've got. That's like half my editing time right there... everyone else sounds fine because they're coming through the codec.

Anyway, I'm gonna' compress this sucker and get it to Scott, he'll upload it, and then hopefully Idol can again post up the show for us with some notes.

Yeah I definitely wouldn't be opposed to participating in future podcasts. I just ask that I be given more notice (at least more than 10 minutes =) ) so I can kinda get some notes handy on what we're talking about.

Heh, that whole thing was "last minute". We were planning to record that week, and I just asked Dan if he was down for it that night and he said sure, and of course we needed Que. That was all that was scheduled to be on. While we were setting up we saw Pyro on or he saw us and we got him in, then I think he asked you if you wanted to join.

Pretty much if you're online when we're recording, you can be in it. Thats how all of them have gone so far. Honestly we try to plan this stuff...

There won't be guests appearances willy-nilly, however. This last time we really had a lack of people, which is why 2 guys came in last minute. My plan was originally to keep casts at 4 people, not 5, and I think that's still the best way to go. With 5, it always seems like there's somebody who isn't talking as much as everyone else, or we go really long. I'd rather avoid both scenarios if possible.

Those interested in coming on the podcast are welcome to throw their hat in the ring and let me know that they're interested, but at this juncture I can't make any guarantees.

Right now we're using Teamspeak, mainly because my connection sucks and its the one that so far seems to work the best.

Heh, if I'm ever not on an episode you guys will crank the codec up and have it sounding great.
