Surprisingly good and a great alternative to the classic g&t.

I personally think gin would make a better alternative fuel or something.  It certainly doesn't taste fit for human consumption, no matter what it is mixed with.

Actually, I'm drinking it with Beefeater. Not only that, but this is the first bottle of Beefeater I've ever bought. I usually stick to Tangueray or Bluecoat. I must say I'm quite impressed. Its much cheaper than both of them but still has good taste.

scottws: I used to think the same thing, then I had one really good martini. After that I could drink gin with anything.

If I'm going to drink clear liquor I usually go for vodka over gin. Gin just doesn't do it for me. Plus the hangovers are usually hell.

There was one point in my life where I could go through a bottle of gin in a night.  Couldn't say why.  Generally it's beer and whiskey for me (well, used to be... now it's generally just a glass of wine), but for some reason gin had me by the short hairs for a while.  It mixes well with an awful lot of stuff.

Amen.  I'd rather chew on a christmas tree for an hour.

Absolutely.  It's like cologne or something.  I like vodka tonics best these days.  I mix several things with coke, but gin never occurred to me.

It all depends on the kind of gin you get.  Same as whiskey.  It can either be great or really despicable stuff.  Though actually, I find I tend to like rotgut gin better.  Well, maybe not rotgut, but just like some Seagram's or something.  Nothing too fancy.  There's a lime gin that I really liked.
