Vegtable Tactics

Its not really a tactics game. Its a match 3 style puzzle game (match 3 of the same item and they disappear). The difference being the game board is a soup pot, and the items to match are veggies and stuff thrown into the pot. The veggies all have different shapes and are physics objects, so they bounce, roll around, and settle in the pot. You have a circle selector that you must get 3 items inside of to remove them, and theres a button that will throw the veggies into the air so they reshuffle a bit when they land. The idea is to not let the pot overflow.

Its kinda cool.

These are the kind of games that I share with my sister. She likes simple, fun little games.

It ends up being a twitch-click game.  My clicker muscle got sore.  Still is.  It hurts to press keys now.

There doesn't seem to be anything you can do besides take whatever you get entirely at random and try to find the groups.  Shake doesn't change things much at all.  And in the end, it commits the mortal sin of any game played for score: no high-score counter.  Your score disappears in a hurry too.

Yeah, you're right. After I posted this and started playing more I realized the "shake" button only adds to your score and does nothing to jostle the contents of the pot...which is sorely needed. The last game I played the pot filled up super fast because nothing was creating groups of 3s.

Weird, that's exactly what my sister likes too.

She liked Broken Sword 1 & 2, so I tried to get her to play the more recent adventure games but nothing.. She just won't get into it! SO it's back to Bejeweled and many others.
