Story

With a development budget of under $1million, they did pretty well for themselves.

Great game.  Seriously.  If you haven't tried it yet, try it.  Discussions of Stardock and DRM aside, the guys really did a bang-up job.  It's a lot of fun.  Is there a demo out yet?

I've been wanting to get this but Stardock is still charging a pretty penny for it.  That's one thing I don't like about digital distribution.  There is no stock that the retailer has to clear out at bargain prices.

I liked the demo quite a bit; so I bought it when BB had it on sale for $25.
If I see a sale on this one, I'll post it. :)

Sins is good stuff.

But, a part of me wishes the game had a storyline/campaign to The SP.

You can argue that if you stack the amount of enemies and level-size settings up enough, the game can take you numerous hours to try and run through.

You should probably be able to find it at retail still, Scott, if that makes any difference.  I've seen copies floating around.

I saw it at Best Buy a couple months ago but it was $49.99 there.

I see it retail, but the price hasn't budged since release.

Really?  I think I got it at like $35 a week after it came out.

That's pretty much still what it goes for.

Amazon has it for $36.99.
That's free ground shipping, since it's over $25.

All Gogamer prices before shipping costs.
Gogamer has the UK Import for $32.90.
Gogamer has the USA Version $37.90.

I never understand why the U.S. versions are always more expensive on Gogamer.com.

I never understand why the U.S. versions are always more expensive on Gogamer.com.

I think it's b/c most USA gamers would want to buy the USA version of the game b/c it's the USA version. Me, if it's the same game exactly in the USA as in the UK, as long as their ain't annoying activation stuff, I'll opt for either edition; whatever's cheaper for me.

Only in those rare instances, like when the UK Version has more uncensored content allowed than the USA version (usually, they are more lenient on nudity overseas on the rating boards than over here in the USA) -- i.e. see The Witcher and Fahrenheit (aka Indigo Prophecy) -- does Gogamer jack the price up higher on the UK Version b/c they know it's going to be sought after by USA gamers.
