Topic: Who likes Metroid music?

There's some new stuff to listen to if you had to the Metroid Database.  Apparently some guy got really ill and a friend of his organized the OCR community to do a bunch of Super Metroid remixes sort of as a "get well" album since that's his favorite game.  And I guess a whole bunch of them did.  I have no idea whether or not any of this stuff is any good since I don't have time to listen just now, but though I should point it out.  The page there says there are at least a few pretty awesome tracks worth listening to.

I downloaded all the tracks.  I'll listen to them tomorrow.  With some notable exceptions (e.g., Norfair 2: "Braving the Flames") I'm not a big fan of standalone Metroid music.  It serves much better as atmosphere in the games themselves.  And then remixes can be good or bad.  So we'll see.  Thanks for the link in any case.
