Preying mantises are great. That reminds me of a shot I took: This guy was tiny, maybe just a cm long or so. He might not look as tough as yours, but he somehow looks cute.

Awesome indeed.

I love Sy's pic, though.  That little guy totally looks like he's ready to take on the world.

I saved a mantis that was on our front porch the other day where he didn't belong.  They're really cool.  Let him off in the bushes somewhere... hopefully he caught some bugs and had epic battles.
