Topic: "Best movie of the year"

Does anyone else tire of hearing statements like this in January?  It's like saying "The best movie to come out in the last two and a half weeks!"  Seriously, who are they kidding?

I hate the "#1 movie in America!" crap that goes on. Its the release weekend of the only new movie to come out this month and...*gasp* it sold more tickets than the other films that everyone has already seen? Sadly it always seems like the shitty movies claim this since anything good is too smart for the average movie goer.

I find it awesome when "the greatest movie of the year" comes out in January. It's quite cocky and also probably true for how much of the year has passed.

Cockiness and manipulation are great things.
