Topic: 2K Boston working on a "AAA Multiplayer" game for X360, PS3, and PC

2K Boston (makers of the 1st Bioshock) is working on a "AAA Multiplayer" Game for the PC, X360, and PS3.

It's being made on the Unreal Engine, though we don't know yet what the game is...yet....

Not everybody's firing. 2K Boston's hiring, and its ad posting tips off that its current big project is an Unreal-based "AAA multiplayer" for Xbox, PS3 and PC.

"The BioShock team is betting big on multiplayer and plans to stay at the top of the charts," says the job listing for a multiplayer lead engineer, which went up on Gamasutra. 2K Boston's also looking for a multiplayer lead designer. Pretty sure there are more than a few resumes coming in for this one.

You know, 2K Boston (AKA Irrational Games Boston) did Tribes: Vengeance. Hmmmm. You think they might be doing another Tribes game? Does anybody know 2K Boston buy the Tribes IP from Vivendi (who is a part of Activision Blizzard)?

Or do y'all think 2K Boston is doing something brand new?
