1 vs 100 on Xbox Live
« on: Friday, May 08, 2009, 10:21:52 PM »
The beta was available tonight to Canadians and I have to say it's kinda cool how it's done.  The game is live and there are three groups.  The crowd is where everybody else is, the mob who actually participates in the game and can change the outcome, as well as the one who's in the hotseat.  While the game show itself has ridiculously easy questions (though they're on a short timer), it's just the way it's done that is so fun.

I hear a lot of people have had connection issues, but I was lucky enough to be able to stay connected for the entire time.  They actually have a game show host talk a bit every once in a while, and unfortunately, like a real TV show, there are 'breaks' where they air some advertisements.

Still, the way it is implemented and the way it works makes it seem really fun.  I was part of the crowd the entire time, so I didn't get a chance to be a part of the Mob, but if you do manage to get into the Mob or the One, you can get prizes and MS Points and stuff.
