I can understand not wanting to see a friend or loved one used in that way. It probably seems weird and disrespectful to the memory of the real person. That said... dude was a rock star. To most people, that means he wasn't really a real person. He's an icon, a product. I mean, what do you want? Eventually you cease to become your own entity and are more or less owned by popular culture, not to mention yanked around like a puppet by your record company.
