Probably both.  I am not sure though.

It really depends on the bank.  Some banks are closed both days and some are just closed Christmas.  Most of the larger banks are just closed on Christmas though.

I don't.  I don't think we have any of those in Cincinnati.

Never heard of it.  But if you're betting, I'd err on the side of caution.  A lot of banks do close both days.

HSBC is generally considered the largest bank in the world.  Generally because people can't agree on how you measure something like that or if you should technically count a couple of banks in China who have massive assets.  That said, they're hands down the industry leader in both market cap. and profitability, as well as one of the top ten largest companies in the world.  HUGE.

As for the 24th, banks are open, but many services close earlier in the day.

No I mean they alongside Citibank are most widely spread across the world... by "even Canada", I meant that they are present in the neighboring country.

Ive never seen one either. I know you can do online banking with them. Like INGDirect style.

They might have a different brand in America...although I doubt it. They might just operate mainly commercially there rather than focus on consumer services.

yeah, we've got them all over the place too, although up until recently they operated under the name of "Midland" in the UK.
