Members of my favorite band, The Dexateens, are trying to organize a fundraiser concert in Birmingham for families affected by the oil spill (the band is all based in Alabama).  Let me first say that this band is by no means huge, and they can use all the help they can get to pull this off.  They have set up a page for the organization here:

Please click on the page and click "like".  May not seem like a big deal, but the more support is shown for this gig the more likely it is that it will receive financial backing and legitimate artist commitments.  And the more likely it is to raise a considerable amount of money.
