There isn't much info out there on this game. It just showed up in the US PSN store, its a card battle game, and its 99 cents. I had enough just sitting in my PSN wallet doing nothing so I grabbed it, and Im pretty glad I did.
The game is a very simplified card battle game. In fact, it almost reminds me of Pokemon battles (the videogame ones, not the card game). You have a certain amount of mana to construct your deck, as each monster costs so much mana. Your deck can contain a maximum of 6 cards, three in front and 3 reverse, which I will explain in a second. Monsters also have "types" like fire, water, etc that they are weak or strong against. You can field a deck of fewer than 6 cards which will leave you with more mana at the start of a match. This would allow you to cast mana-using abilities easily which might play into your strategy.
So a match starts and your first three cards come out. You then choose one of these to be the current summoned monster which you can do direct attacks with. The other two cards act as support cards and they can have abilities to play (costing mana) that can only be cast when they are in this support role. Your support cards are also mana generators. If you didn't have them do anything in any round, then they generate mana. When a monster dies and it has a "reverse", then this new monster takes its place and usually has some ability that fires when it comes into play.
And thats really all you need to know to play. Its simple but has some fun strategy. There is online play, as you can guess from the title. Actually, you must be signed in to PSN to play at all. Bit of an annoyance but it syncs up the cards and titles you earn for when you play online. I havent checked out the online play yet. Apparently there are "tickets" that you buy to play in ranked online tournaments. Depending on how you place in the tournament you can earn more tickets or rare cards. You are given 10 free tickets at the start so theoretically you could play these tournaments and never have to buy another ticket as long as you place in the range that gives you more tickets. I did read that there are free games to play, they are just for fun and you wont win any new cards or tickets from them. Which is cool, would be fun with friends.
So yeah, 99 cents. Has a fairly substantial singleplayer mode where you can unlock a bunch of cards. And a platinum trophy can be earned if you're into that sort of thing. I recommend it if you like card games, or Pokemon, or are a trophy whore.
