Usually this is bundled with your antivirus product these days.  I use Eset NOD32 Anti-virus.  I haven't used Spybot or Ad-Aware in years.  Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is a good companion product though.  I've had it detect things that none of the major anti-virus products could on many occasions.

MSE is supposed to be really good.  We talked about this somewhere.

MSE does a pretty decent job. I'm currently using the fairly recent beta (available here). The beta includes these features:

Quote
-Windows® Firewall integration: Microsoft Security Essentials setup allows you to turn on Windows Firewall.

-Enhanced protection from web-based threats: Microsoft Security Essentials has enhanced integration with Internet Explorer® which helps prevent malicious scripts from running and provides improved protection against web based attacks.

-New and improved protection engine: The updated engine offers enhanced detection and cleanup capabilities and better performance.
