Thats a big long title.

The popular 'Last Stand' co-operative mode from Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2 will be made available as a stand-alone downloadable title tomorrow, Games Workshop announced today.

The game is scheduled to be released through Steam tomorrow for a cool $10. Since it's a stand-alone title, you won't need a copy of Retribution to play it. If you do get hooked from the little downloadable taste, though, you can bump it up to the full version for a reduced price.

"We saw this as a unique opportunity to introduce new players to the Dawn of War franchise as well as expanding the player base for the already popular Last Stand mode," said producer Jeff Lydell in the announcement.

Is this the last DOW2 game?
Are they going on to DOW3 now or what?

Its just a cheap standalone version of one of the DoW2 modes. Doesnt mean anything other than "I bet we could sell this by itself".

Any of the old DOW2 Last Stand maps?

Man, the link is all I got. If I had to venture a guess I would imagine it would come with the Last Stand maps from DoW2 so people that buy this new game can play with people that own the full DoW2. No sense in splitting the community.
