Available nowMan, early Christmas present. Air Buccaneers was my favorite UT2k4 mod and now they are making a new updated version. In case you didn't play the mod, the game is about airships and cooperation. Players board the ships, not in a "use ship become part of the ship" way like most vehicles in games are handled, but you just walk on to the ship and become a part of the crew. You still have full control of your character to walk around on board. So one guy walks over to the controls and can fly and steer the ship while everyone else mans the guns. The canons work better when you have 2 or more people manning them because you have to manually load in the canon balls, aim, and fire. If you have one player dedicated to each of these positions then you can fire the canons much much faster.
There are also weapons to help protect the ship from canon balls, rope to help you board enemy ships and cut down the crew with your sword. Seriously, its a total blast to play. I'm going to grab this alpha ASAP.
