Pitman on Desura

I'm just going to post the description on Desura so you can understand why I grabbed the demo.

Pitman is a turn-based rogue-like with boardgame style. Everything you desire is inside the randomized dungeons: Dwarfs, trolls, golems, treasures, potions, magic, hammer, bow, much more weapons, ... and don't forget the monster moles and pretzels!
Could not click the download link fast enough.

And thats a fairly accurate description. You're a dwarfy dude thats exploring a dungeon. Only one "tile" is revealed at a time, so when you reach the edge of it you click the arrow to lay down a new section. If you've played the Zombies!!! boardgame, its kinda like that. Though strangely the tiles are called "cards" here. Its weird.

So you go traipsing around the dungeon, building it as you go, killing enemies, picking up loot, leveling up, the usual roguelike stuff. Its not as in depth as something like Nethack or even Dungeons of Dredmor, but its got a simple charm to it. You eventually find the ladder down and move on to the next level, but thats where the demo ends. Full version is $3 on Desura and other places. There is also an iOS version available.
