Yea... learn to chill out and step away from the computer sometimes. I will say he did recognize what a jackass he was being and I'm sure a lot of developers have experienced a similar level of frustration he is going through working with steam. But yea, he fucked up and hopefully he's learned something.

Mike is leaving Code Avarice. He sold his stake in the company to his partner so he won't see any money from the sale of the game in hopes that will distance it enough for Valve to let it back on. We'll see, I guess.

Interesting story. Comments on that post are revealing. Guy sounds like he's got some major anger problems, which his language pretty much seems to indicate. If you throw foul language around that much, even when people interview you about stuff, you have some rage to work on.

I was just checking out the guy's resignation post on the company website, the following apology, and the post after that asking people to sign a petition.  The comments are amazing.  These two guys really are shitheads. There's a couple of stories on there and a chatlog where the guys are pretty much refusing to listen to complaints and/or criticism from people who bought the game.  Not just ignoring them, but making fun of them, insulting them, etc.  A great line in there is this Mike guy saying something like "shut the fuck up, I'm going back to counting the money I'm making off of this game".

Fast forward a little bit and they're begging fans to sign a petition for them.   Even with the guy stepping down they are done.

Yeah, not surprising at all. Valve didn't bite, the game is still off of Steam, so why bother with the whole charade anymore?
