Sorry sy, this is not the space game you are looking for.
Star Realms is a deckbuilding card game like Dominion or Ascension. But this one is in SPAAAAAAAACE! It has a bit more player interaction than some other games in that you are directly attacking your opponents health (or Authority...ah, game lingo.) You can purchase space stations and outposts that your opponent would have to attack first, and all sorts of other ships and money generating cards. Cards belong to factions so there is some good variety and bonuses when playing cards of the same faction together.
Free to download for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. You can play AI and some campaign missions to get the hang of things and purchasing the game will unlock the whole campaign as well as online play. For only $5 it seems like a good deal to me.
