Looking around itch.io for cool stuff, and I found something cool.
Drifting Lands is a demo/alpha for a horizontal shooter/hack and slash loot game. Really slick and professional looking already.
You get a basic ship and take it out on missions to blast at enemies. This plays like a typical side scrolling "bullet hell" kind of game. Collect money and go back to the hangar to upgrade your ship. Give it more health, new abilities, and eventually stuff starts dropping loot that you can attach? I don't know, haven't gotten any yet but that's what it looks like in the hangar.
It's a small download and is pretty fun. You should check it out.
