my pet lizard, sidny, didn't wake up today. he'd been sick for a while and i'd been hand feeding him for the last few weeks, so it was kind of expected. i got him for my 12th birthday, so he was a decent age, but it still sucks.

Aww, he's great!  What kind of lizard is he?  I used to have quite a number, but none that ever lasted over ten years.

It's a bummer he's gone, but it sounds like you guys had a good long time together.

He looks cool. I've always wanted a Gecko. Just never messed with it because of the money for a tank, and lamps, and all that stuff. Maybe one day though.

Bummer, 10 years is a long time for a small lizard though, what kind was it?

I had a handful of Green Anoles as a kid as well as a green iguana that I only had for around 8 months before he somehow escaped.  I've always been a big fan of lizards

yeah, he was closer to thirteen years old, so he was getting on.

he was a leopard gecko. they're a really good tempered breed, very docile and they don't mind being handled. he used to sit on my shoulder for hours while i played games or watched tv.
