Too cool to ignore this -- especially for what it is: a very entertaining popcorn-style action flick.
No, the plot depth is definitely not the best around. No, the story is definitely not the deepest around, either.
The sandbox start of the flick, before he gets "discovered" is just too cool -- kind of like in Hollow Man, where the character is just messing around with his gift, trying to figure it out and all of that stuff. Too cool. (Of course, Hollow Man falls apart once it turns into generic Jason-slasher flick, in the last half of the movie. Jumper doesn't really mess itself up, going that route.)
Many of the actions scenes and "jumps" (from location A to a way much different location B; and even the rapidly contrasting "Jumps") are just too freakin' cool in this flick; especially when they get rapid and frantic.
For acting, Samuel L. Jackson and Jamie Bell easily steal this show.
Fun popcorn movie.
