In my Argument and Advocacy class, I had to present and argument for extremist groups. One of the best points of my argument was that Jesus was considered an extremist in his time. In an audience largely focused on Jihadists, this was a good point. Not that this has anything to do with the discussion, W&C's post brought this up in my mind for some reason. Also my argument focused on rational and non-violent forms of extremism.
