Snyder's of Hangover
« on: Saturday, September 16, 2006, 01:19:56 PM »
I mean... Hanover.  Best pretzels ever.  I have a bag of these and some Guinness right now and I am very happy.  Me and my best friend used to eat these like crazy when we'd go on our little drinking binges.  Hence our little pet name for them.

Anybody else have a favorite beer food?  I don't know why, for some reason I was curious.

I actually enjoy that same brand myself, never had it with Guiness.  Usually when I go to a restaurant and order something like a hamburger or steak I usually get a Guiness with it, they go along well for some reason, that and Guiness is just awesome.

drunk food? this thing that a local kebab shop does is amazing. pitta bread filled with chips (or fries, or whatever), covered in cheese, kebeab meat and whatever salad and sources you want. heart attack material, but well nice.

Pretzels are my favorite.  Snyder's, in particular, are some of the best.  I have like three huge tubs of Snyder's pretzels in my room that I bought at BJ's -- they've gotta be like 10 lbs each.  I eat pretzels with every meal, pretty much.  Chips suck.

On the opposite end of the pretzel spectrum, I really like Auntie Anne's as well.  I'm not sure if its a regional chain or not, so in case it is...

They are like these really warm soft, doughy, buttery pretzels.  I've only seen them in malls.  They kick fucking ass.  I love the jalepeno ones.

Oh yeah, and you can smell those places from a mile away.  There's an Auntie Annie's in the mall near me and their pretzels stink up the entire mall in the best way possible.

I hate pretzels. They are so salty. Yes I know that is the point.

I just replied to this topic, then made a favorite drunk foods topic.  If that's not the best indication that I am, in fact, drunk and eating, then tell me what else is.

And yes, I'm a fan of the sweet ones.  I've never actually tried the parmesan/garlic one, but it sounds good.  My favorite is the cinnamon raisin one with the icing.

My roomate used to eat those pretzels all the time when he was drunk, and he would always give them to me. They are good, but usually I eat goldfish. And the best hangover cure in the world is Bojangles. Nothing beats it.

You're telling me that you have never eaten at Bojangles? Man, you are missing out. I guess it's a southern thing. Good buscuits, chicken, etc.
