Topic: Acceptance!

I got accepted into my two top university choices today: Wilfrid Laurier University and Dalhouse, both for Business.

Now I have to decide between the two. Laurier is close, has the biggest co-op program in Canada, and has several thousand people in the business program. Dalhousie has a mandatory co-op program, is 2000km away and has nice small classes of 50 or so. Both seem to be similar from the reputation standpoint. I'm leaning towards Dalhouse. The only downside is visiting home will be expensive.

But I have plenty of time to decide. yay for acceptance! This totally kills my motivation to get good marks though. I need to maintain a 70% average or something really low.

Nice.  I was originally going to go to Dal, but ended up changing my mind at the last min. Good school and Halifax is a lot of fun.  I know nothing of Wilfrid Laurier though.

Hey, congratulations man. My last few months of high school were definitely my most fun. I didn't do a damn thing.

And travel expenses aside, smaller classes are definitely a good thing. The overall quality of education seems to be better in smaller classes.

Congrats, though!  I hope you get a lot out of it.  Even if you don't realize it while you're going (some do, some don't), it's something you'll probably miss if you don't get a shot at it.  Don't slack, do your best!

Try and smoke a lot of pot and not go to class your first year. I hear that works REALLY well. My uh..friend..did it and he got straight A's*


*in all of his snowboarding classes. Which was one. The rest F's.
