Buffalo Wild Wings (B-Dubs)
« on: Wednesday, June 20, 2007, 09:52:32 PM »
A friend of ours invited us out tonight to go hang out there tonight, and get some grub. Well, we don't really eat out or anything all that much, so we decided to go. That place fuckin rocks! And the food was awesome. They had a bunch of games you could play against other people. We played trivia for a while as we waited for our food. They have a ton of different things. Wings, chicken tenders, burger, onion rings, salads, just a ton of stuff. And they have a ton of different sauces that you can choose from, and a scale you can look at to gauge how mild or hot you want. All the way from super mild, and not hot at all, all they way up to "blazin". About 14 sauces. I got 4 of the boneless "asian zing" wings, which is about in the middle of the scale. They were pretty warm, but they were sweet, and they were so damn tasty. And I got some "mango habanero", which was like 2nd to last. They were really hot, but they were delicious. It was my favorite out of the two. Have to try some other sauces next time.

Anyway, yeah, sweet place. Full bar, sports on tv, games, good food. Thumbs up.

Welcome to 15 years ago.  Haha.

Sorry man, had to.  Maybe they are new in Columbus, but I've been going there since before high school (back when it was called BW3).

Anyway, yeah, it's a decent place.  I used to love it, but now I prefer Hooter's wings, or Wild Mike's (local place down here).

Yeah, BW3's kicks ass. I went with the blazin' one time and I was dying after only a few. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

Is it just me or is there a revival of interest in wings in the last couple of years?  There are wing restaurant chains opening all over the place here in Texas.  I myself don't like them that much, the only part of a chicken I really like is the breast.  There's a local place here that serves chicken breast with the same type of breading and sauce they use for the wings and its really spicy the way I like it.

There was a place in the town where I grew up called the Copper Salmon (we called it the Copper Semen...because we're juvenile) that did one of those 100 wings for $10.00 deals.  Have those and a one or five Hamm cans and you were sated with an incredible raging heartburn.  I miss it.

I haven't had wings in years, dammit that sounds good.

Wings never did shit for me, to be honest.  Too much work for very little payout.  Give me something I can sink my teeth into.
