WWE Superstar Chris Benoit and his family -- including his wife Nancy (who was Woman in WCW) and their son, were found dead this morning at their home in Georgia.

So whenever I see that a wrestler is dead I take it with a pinch of salt. It's sad news, but they need to stop fucking with us because that's not cool.

I kind of hate the whole thing, so... yeah.  I don't know or care about this stuff really.  I admire what wrestlers do as far as that I acknowledge it takes a hell of a lot of physical talent and dedication to do that stuff, but it isn't my thing.  Drop all the cheesy plot crap and just beat on each other.  For real.  Then I'll watch.

I used to be a huge fan of wrestling, and Chris Benoit was one of the first wrestlers to really get me into it. I almost teared up when I heard this because that's just fucked. He was a really talented wrestler, probably one of the best technical wrestlers to ever live. It's really a shame that this happend. I really wonder what the cause of death was. When it comes to some of the best of technical wrestlers around in recent years, I think of the following names -- Bret Hart, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, and Kurt Angle.

Well, so far, we know this much now -- that Chris strangled his wife, killed his son, and then himself. Absolutely awful...

Police said that Nancy Benoit died of asphyxiation on Friday, said Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard. She was found in an upstairs family room with her legs and wrists bound and blood under her head, perhaps indicating a struggle, he said.

The Benoits' son, Daniel, died of asphyxiation sometime Saturday morning, Ballard said. He was found in his bed upstairs. Both mother and son had bibles placed at their sides.

Authorities found the pro wrestler dead in the basement, hanging from the pulley of a weight machine. He died sometime late Saturday or Sunday, Ballard said.

I've been pretty buisy the last few days and didn't see this until about an hour ago on CNN (fuck, that network sucks).  Nancy Grace might be the worst human being on the face of the planet.  I seriously think she's a genetic experiment.  It's like they set out to create someone who would say the stupidest thing at any given time.

In other news, this morning my girlfriend was listening to Q102.  It's a crappy girl radio station here in Cincy.  The guy on their morning show seems like a chick with a man's voice.  He talks about Desperate Housewives with the best of them and is way too up-to-speed on celebrity gossip.  Anyway, he was talking about this story as if he heard it for the first time this morning and kept referring to him as Chris Benoit.  Like as in Ben-oyt versus Ben-wah.  It was bothering the crap out of me, but that's probably because I pretty much thing the guy is a complete pussy anyway.

Last I heard they hadn't said whether or not that's what happened.  Obviously I haven't been paying much attention.  But yeah, if that's the case, he's a pretty sick bastard.  Then again, it isn't that surprising.  It seems like a lot of pro wrestlers meet their ends in rather unpleasant ways.
