What's the problem, you just can't get into your user? THere must be other ways to get to your files. Go into another user and back them up? Put in another hard drive with windows on it and use that to access the files on your current comp. or can you just not access anytihng in your user...

I figured out how to get to the things I wanted to backup. I created another Admin user, and got to stuff like that. But my computer is still fucked. Everytime I resart all my settings are reset. So it's like I just installed windows. So, I'm getting ready to backup some tuff, and reformat. My computer needed it anyway, but I didn't want to do it for a couple more weeks. It's such a huge pain in the ass. Blah.

So, I need service pack 2. And my copy of windows that Im using isn't exactly a legal copy. Even though I did purchase it long ago. Anyway, any advice? Been searching bittorrent sites high and low, but I can't find anything. I use to have a little crack pack, but I can't seem to find it.

You can update your Windows XP CD to incorporate SP2 into it onto a new boot CD.  Search on google like SP2 boot CD or something like that it will tell you how.  You'll obviously need your Windows XP CD, and SP2.

Edit:  I'm assuming you're reformatting or something.  I have no idea what you're actually asking though.

Yeah, I reformatted. Everything is good now. I found a much easier way to get it, heh.
