A lot of my clothing either has very few pockets or noe at all. The ones with bigger pockets aren't that usable since whatever you put in them shows through.

So I bought a purse. actually it's a shoulder bag, but it's basically a purse.

A briefcase you have to hold though. The other option would be a laptop bag but those are massive. I needed something with more purse-like qualities. Of all the bags I tried that one was the least immasculating.

We all need to rebel and get a full-out, legitimate purse and get rid of this negative stigma! They're just so convenient.

I don't actually carry enough stuff around to warrant anything like that. I carry keys, a cellphone and a wallet, all of which fit into my pockets. I generally don't buy pants without pockets, for this reason.

Messenger bags are big and I feel like a woman carrying it. Somehow this shoulder bag doesn't.

With jeans I don't use it but there are no athletic shorts that have usable pockets at all.

I hate designer bags.  Those things look like ass to me and everyone pays out the nose for them.  I'll never get it.  Seriously, thousands of dollars for what looks like something a blind monkey did to a can of alphabet soup.  WTF?

Anyway... I hate bags in general.  The only bag I'll use is my backpack, which I take with me to work every day.  It's got everything I need for a trip to work - PSP, notebooks for novel work and poetry, books I'm reading/studying, my CD player, CD wallet, headphones, lunch bag thing... it's great!  All other bags are completely inferior, IMO.  They either look stupid or don't have enough space.  The only thing I used the backpack for is work, though.  Can't imagine needing that much space for anything else.  Anywhere else I go I just take keys, wallet, little black book + work badge + lighter (just out of habit).

I use a messenger bag for school and such. I think Meg got it for me at Aeropostale. It's a nice bag. I also have a rook sack, travel bag, gym bag, whatever you want to call it. I got it for running in the Komen Breast Cancer run. It says "race for the cure", and has a pink ribbon on it. I like it. I use it for gym stuff, or if we are going to the zoo or something where we'll be walking and carrying junk around. Other than that, I don't use it much.
