Yeah, I've been wanting to pick those up but haven't yet gotten around to it. I hope to at some point relatively soon.
Also, don't judge Sandman too harshly. I heard so much about it for years and years, but every time I looked at one of the books I just got turned off. I hated the art style, the weird use of color... just couldn't dig it by flipping through. But when I finally broke down and bought the first volume, by the end of it I was completely sold. There's a little bit of oddness to it because of cameos and crossovers that seem a little unnatural, but even some of those end up being pretty cool. "24 Hours" (I think it was called) was just amazing. So my suggestion is to get the first one and don't judge it until you've had a chance to read it through. It only gets better from there, and I think it's easy to be put off by various elements of the series (artistic or otherwise) until you've actually sat down with the book. Now I completely love the way the art's done and everything, and it's easily my most loved comic series ever at this point.
