He raises interesting points I don't think about given how far away from casual gaming I am.  I mean, I hear a little now and again, and the indy scene is kind of tied into the casual game scene innately, so you can't avoid at least *some* exposure, but... I know nothing about PopCap, for instance, nor have I ever realized exactly how large they've actually grown now.

Yeah, they've grown quite a bit. I think their main competition is BigFish Games.
