Topic: Wii remote jackets now standard; get free ones if you already have a Wii

Guess people were still throwing the things through TVs, so now they come with these rubber jackets so improve grip. For people that already own Wiis, you can input your Wii serial number and order up to 4 jackets for free. New remotes will simply come with them, and new Wiis will come packed with one.

Yeah. I got a message when I turned on my Wii this afternoon.

That looks uglier than I imagined. I don't know. I still haven't thrown the thing across the room yet, much less lost my grip on it. Granted I'm not playing the thing every day, but it's not like you need to wave the thing around like a monkey (even with Wario Ware). Maybe I'll send in for one.

I like the open face design makes pressing the smaller buttons easier.  With the old ones the 1 and 2 buttons were hard to press.
