Chocolate Gravy
« on: Friday, January 04, 2008, 06:02:44 AM »
Alright so at breakfast at work there is this brownish gravy which I assumed was supposed to be like giblet gravy or something. Well I eat with a co-worker and he poors it on his eggs and biscuits and sausage, he calls it chocolate gravy. I immediately assumed that was their redneck translation of it, it looks like chocolate so why not call it that, whatever. Now this morning they had it out there again so I got some on top of my sausage and biscuits and try a bite, then the shocking truth hit me... it is chocolate gravy because its just that, made with chocolate. I didn't puke it up... it was for the most part edible... sort of, it was really unusual. About eating halfway into it I had to stop, I think my stomach was getting really confused of what the fuck was going on cause I started to feel queasy. Now the taste is still in my mouth... yuck.

Yeah, I think I'll pass on the chocolate gravy.  Gads.  And we wonder why our society is full of fucking fat people.  I'm fat enough and *I* wouldn't touch that.

Actually my Mom makes this every year for our Christmas breakfast. It's pretty much gravy with some cocoa in it. And it's awesome. I almost thought it was unique to my family, since my family are the only people I know who know what it is, and that make it. It's kind of a southern thing.

Maybe whoever made your gravy made it wrong or something. It's only supposed to be slightly chocolaty. And I put it over my moms batter bread. Nothing else. I wont eat it on eggs and shit.

You are both crazy.  Chocolate doesn't go in gravy, and gravy doesn't go on french fries, and certainly not on french toast.

This is kind of off topic, but Chocolate Gravy would make a great name for a black porn star.
