Did you intentionally make the title of this thread a pun?

I didn't watch the video, but reading about it makes me sick.

This ruins my blissful ignorance in assuming the meat products I buy come from animals killed humanely... I wonder how widespread this behaviour is?

I've seen animals being butchered by the road side.  and it's never humane.  Ever.  I know one school that would have field trips to the slaughterhouse.  Many kids end up traumatized because even if it seemed sterile and clean, they'd see the animals crying.
Taken.

Oh immaculate consumption... Pangs my conscience, but I doubt I have the willpower to give up meat. It's just so damn delicious.

I was kind of expecting the video to be a lot worse.

Most animals have a great existence. They live in fields of magic and candy, solely devoted to providing us with nourishment. Hell, sometimes its hard to keep them alive, since they are so willing to end their lives for our benefit.

I was very nearly sexually assaulted by a cow....er rather a bull today at work.  Fortunately throwing rocks at him did the trick.

Ant has a second job to help pay the bills. Lets just say that they are very animal friendly.

Nothing... that I'm aware of.  Although it was pitch black.  All I rember is crouching with my back to a tree as the bull mounted like 5 cows one after the other within 5' of where I was standing, each time getting a little closer to me...
