kids..
« on: Sunday, October 08, 2006, 05:36:16 PM »
i've been losing sleep taking care of a couple kids the last few nights..  and last night, one got up at 12 and said "i'm going to vomit, feel my stomach"  I told her to get to the bathroom right away.. true enough.. vomit came all over the floor and toilet bowl. then i had to clean up, make some tea, get her a hot water bottle.. and console her.  She was wondering if she would die. She's fine now. weirdo. Psychosomatic problem - more on the psycho side of things.  rararr what's up with kids nowadays?

Nature makes children cute because no one would put up with that kind of thing if they werent.

:o Did you take her to the doctor?

The only kid I've ever babysat is my little nephew, who is about 4 months old now and probably the cutest kid ever, so it's a breeze. I did learn how to change a diaper, though, which is a useful skill.

The only thing I dislike more than vomit is children.

i couldn't take her to the doctor at midnight. It was due to her not wanting to eat lunch and then stuffing herself at dinner, having a hot drink and lots of water. This morning, she promptly ate herself into another upset stomach.  I'm sending her back to her aunt!

kids are okay if they're not psycho.

Took some care of an autistic kid tonight.  It was hard to get her attention but she was sweet, though.  Came to me when she got scared and all I could do was hug her and console her.  A little funny was that it was a hula dancing Stitch doll that scared her.
