Hopefully that comes out to US retailers for PS2, I've played and beat all of the games through rentals, I would love to own all of them.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to owning the pack and if everything is well with this world it's Starforce-free  8)

I have Sands of Time for the GC, and later acquired it for the PC.  I ended up playing it on the PC, and I liked it as long as I played it.  For some reason, I never finished it.  I was afraid I wouldn't like the combat focus of the later games, so I never tried them.

While there is more combat in the later games, its not quite as bad as it sounds since the combat is greatly improved. I only have experience with Sands of Time and Warrior Within.

In SoT it was "Now you're platforming. Now you're fighting. Now you're platforming. Now you're fighting."
In Warrior Within is more along the lines of "Now you're fighting while platforming!"

So its more natural feeling, you come across an enemy while you're doing stuff so you kill it and move on instead of having specific fighting segments. It turned out quite well.

Oh.  That does sound better.  It should work very well on my aged game PC too.  Hmm, I might get to fire it up.  It gets too hot in here with everything on, and it's been dormant for a couple of months.  Of course, I should use it to finish Sands of Time first.  Heh.  Cold weather's around the corner.  Space heaters would be fine then.

Hmmm...so, does this mean they'll release a patch for the game minus StarForce, for all those who own PoP: Two Thrones and spent good $$ for it by its lonesome self?????

I wonder if Gogamer, who gets A LOT of Europeans imports, will get an import of this....
(Especially if Ubi doesn't release a Trilogy Pack here...)

And, I wonder if the USA will get a SoT Trilogy pack released here, as well...

All three games work together so beautifully. The evolution of the combat system is very well done. Just like Idol said, it has become more seamlessly integrated into the flow of the game. In The Two Thrones you also have stealth kills which, if executed properly, will get you moving on faster rather than sticking around for a fight. They implemented the stealth kills in a 'cinematic' way too.

1Up -> Prince of Persia: Sands of Time - HD Trilogy confirmed for EMEA Terriotories (so far).
So - that'll be Sands of Time HD; Warrior Within HD; and The Two Thrones HD.
And they'll also be in stereoscopic 3D.

Sadly it looks like these wont see a retail release. PoP: Sands of Time is out, but only on PSN. And its $15.

Eeesh.. It's a great game but I'd only pay that much for it today if it was a total revamp for HD.. Otherwise I'll just play my PC version on my HDTV.

I've read rumors that the other two games will come out on PSN later this year as well too.

Sucks though. If a disc came out I would totally buy it. It's not like it would take much to localize from a UK version. They could even sell a small run online or something to lower production costs; I'd still order it (actually, why don't more games do this?) It seems like the US always gts the shaft when it comes to fancy Ubisoft stuff, although I don't have a hard example on hand to back that up. Are we too cowboy to appreciate this sort of thing?

Retail release confirmed! Yay! They are also releasing a Splinter Cell trilogy.
