Battlefield: Bad Company

I guess this would be EA's response to Gears of War. The trailer looked cool. However its EA so I won't be buying it.

I wonder if EA realizes they will have to actually have some pretty tight coding to be anywhere near the quality that GoW has.

I smell undeserved commercial success.

I doubt there'll be enough grunting as well.

I had the same thought.  And I grunted simultaneous to its conception.

A SP-based BF game. Cool.

So, where's the PC version, EA? ???

EDIT:
Since this is subtitled "Bad Company", will the voices of Anthony Hopkins and Chris Rock be in the game...? :P

I picked this up the other day for the PS3 and it's actually pretty fun. The graphics are sharp and the gameplay keeps you on your toes for the most part. The game features destructible environments, and while everything isn't entirely destructible, you can blow up most things and use it to your advantage. I frequently blow holes in the sides of buildings instead of running through the main door.

My only real gripe is that the game is too easy. You'll never really have to restart a mission and dying is pretty sparse, even on hard. You get a syringe that refills your health when you use it, and the recharge meter only lasts about 20 seconds, meaning it will generally always be ready when you need it.

But pick it up if you get a chance, even though it's from EA. It's not bad.

Sounds cool, Ghandi. :)
Now, someone tell EA to port this one to the PC, in due time....

EDIT:
Ghandi, are there any difficulties ABOVE Hard?

No clue. There might be something unlockable, but there's nothing above hard from the get-go.

Let's hope there is an unlockable harder difficulty.
That or in some sort of XBL patch, they add a Hardcore mode or something.
